The summers are making us feel relentlessly exhausted, and all we want to do is sit in an air-conditioned room with some fresh fruit juices and not get out of the house. While that just seems to be a far-fetched dream with the daily routine, we must not forget to keep ourselves hydrated in this scorching heat. Yeah, we know you’ve heard this plenty of times, but believe us, drinking enough water is not only beneficial to your body but also works wonders for your skin.

Hydration is the key to healthy skin, and no one can deny that. However, there are several factors that lead to dehydrated skin during the summers –

·     High Temperature :

With the summer months come high temperatures, and the heat in the air tends to dry out your skin.

·     High Humidity :

The humidity is not too good for your skin. The humidity in the air often makes your skin look dry and dehydrated.

·     Intense UV Radiation :

UV rays eventually burn out the skin. This leads to damaged, injured and dry skin. This is the reason why using a sunscreen is really important during harsh summers.

·     Heavy air-conditioning:

Although this brings comfort in the summer heat, heavily air-conditioned rooms can cause your skin to dry. The dry and cold air will leave you feeling dehydrated.

The simple remedies to avoid dull and lusterless skin is a skin care routine that you shouldn’t miss –

·     Be Gentle:

The skin tends to produce more oil during summers which means some people tend to become aggressive with skincare products. Use products that are gentle to your skin and make sure not to cleanse your skin more than twice a day.

·     Sunscreen:

Whether it’s sunny outside or not, wearing sunscreen all-year round will work wonders for the skin and protect your skin from premature ageing as well as dullness and dryness.

·     Exfoliate:

A gentle exfoliator, once every week, is a must for a glowing skin. It helps remove dead skin cells on the skin’s surface. The build-up of dead skin cells results in excess oil and clogged pores, further leading to blemishes and acne.

Hotter temperatures increase sebum levels, which means more clogged pores. Blackheads are nothing but clogged pores that are open. The black spots which are often spotted on the nose, look horrible and when we spot them on our face, all you want to do is pick on it. But don’t even think of doing that. The best way to get rid of this is by using a face scrub once a week and exfoliation once every week.

Exfoliation with a face scrub that provides you nourishment as well as just enough hydration during the summers is what you need for a radiant and glowing skin. The Everyuth Naturals Walnut Apricot Scrub not just removes blackheads and dead skin cells but also nourishes your skin. It is one of the best exfoliating scrubs for sensitive and dry skin. Try it once, and we bet you’ll get addicted to it.
